Larry J. Fisher, Life Member ASHRAE, is the retired owner and president of ECT Services, a temperature controls design and installation company based in Louisville, KY. He was involved with Technical Committee (TC) 1.4, Control Theory and Application; acted as a past member of the ASHRAE Board of Directors; and has served as voting member of Publishing and Education Council (PEC). Fisher has received ASHRAE’s Distinguished and Exceptional Service Awards, and he has spoken on controls at numerous ASHRAE conferences. Fisher’s expertise in controls spans over 30 years; his understanding of quality installations results in future-oriented, sustainable buildings. His passion is education for owners, engineers, and installers, resulting in well-maintained mechanical systems for the life of a building.
