    Biography

    Triantafyllos Triantafyllopoulos, Member ASHRAE, has more than 17 years of experience in the HVAC&R industry. He holds an engineering degree from Loughborough and Staffordshire University, and a master’s from Heriot-Watt University. He has trained in dedicated workshops for several years in HVAC engineering in Greece and Europe for the Hellenic Chapter of ASHRAE. He specializes in dehumidification and ventilation applications and is a recognized authority in the area of psychrometrics.

    Triantafyllopoulos has 9 years of experience as an instructor. He teaches courses on various ASHRAE standards and in psychrometrics. He is currently employed as Head of Engineering by a German supplier of Air Handling Units He resides in Athens Greece.

    Triantafyllopoulos believes the greatest challenge facing engineers in the field of building and environmental technologies is applying psychrometrics not only in the design but also in the commissioning process to improve building design.
