    Steve Tredinnick, P.E., CEM, ASHRAE Fellow, is senior project manager at Burns & McDonnell, an international consulting and construction company. A published author and frequent speaker, Tredinnick is a recognized industry leader advocating for increased reliance on district energy facilities as a vital component of enhanced energy security, efficiency, and grid stability. With more than 38 years' experience in HVAC and district energy systems, Tredinnick has consulted and led project teams on some of the largest and most innovative central utility and district energy projects in North America and worked on several in the Arabian Gulf region. Tredinnick is past president of the Minnesota Chapter of ASHRAE and has chaired the ASHRAE Technical Committee on District Energy and also active in other committees related to hydronic and steam heating systems and is currently involved with the updating of ASHRAE Guideline 22, Instrumentation For Monitoring Central Chilled-Water Plant Efficiency and ANSI/CSA 448.1 Design And Installation Of Ground Source Heat Pump Systems For Commercial And Residential Buildings.
