    Biography

    Dunstan Macauley has nearly 15 years of experience in the HVAC industry specializing in the design of a variety of systems for commercial and institutional projects. He joined Encon Group in 2008 as an Associate Director, and currently serves as the Mechanical Department Manager. Mr. Macauley is actively involved in project management and design including several projects for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology, telecommunications, and broadcast communication industries. He is also instrumental in leading Encon’s sustainable design initiatives. Mr. Macauley has also held positions at design firms in the New York and Washington D.C. metropolitan areas including Bladykas Engineering, P.C, SmithGroup, and Vanderweil Engineers. Mr. Macauley has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland and is a registered professional engineer. Mr. Macauley is also certified as a High-Performance Building Design Professional and is a LEED Accredited Professional. Mr. Macauley is a member of The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) and The Association on Energy Engineers (AEE). Mr. Macauley currently serves as Vice-President of the National Capital Chapter of ASHRAE and also serves on several society-level standing and technical committees.
