    Biography

McHenry "Mack" Wallace, Jr. was attending Rice University during the oil embargo in 1973. He has worked to reduce energy use in buildings throughout his career as a contractor and consulting engineer. Mack joined the 90.1 committee in the 90s and helped write the first ASHRAE Standard written in Code language, 90.1-1999. Mack began to develop training material and presenting it for the ASHRAE Learning Institute based on 90.1 2004 and has continued for every edition.
