ASHRAE Training to be Offered at Efficient Building Design Conference in Beirut

ATLANTA (July 5, 2018) – The ASHRAE Global Training Center for Building Excellence will offer two courses in conjunction with the Third International Conference on Efficient Building Design, 4–5 Oct. 2018 at the American University of Beirut, Beirut, Lebanon. One course will explain how to apply ASHRAE’s indoor air quality standard and the other will explain ASHRAE’s design standard for energy efficiency.

“Improving energy efficiency, building performance and indoor air quality are some of the critical challenges building systems professionals in the Middle East and Northern Africa region face due to the unique climate conditions of the area,” says 2018–2019 ASHRAE President Sheila J. Hayter, P.E. “The courses will present attendees and other professionals in the region with practical skills and knowledge to design and maintain advanced HVAC systems. The information can be put to immediate use and is presented by practitioners experienced in Middle East applications.”
