Why should I join? The most popular reasons include growing your professional network, access to technical publications, professional development through continuing education & conferences, and the opportunity to be active in and give back to the community/industry.
How much does membership cost? Typically membership is $209 annually, although we have special pricing for students, those living in Developing Economies, and those just starting out in the industry or returning from active duty. Most employers will cover the cost of membership and we have a template email to help get your boss on board.
What member grade should I chose? Most join at the Associate level, which is open to anyone. If you have 12 years or more of industry experience and/or a professional license you will likely qualify for Member Grade.
Where is my local chapter? We have 187 chapters in 15 regions across the world, and many can also be found on social media. #myashrae
