ASHRAE Conference Papers

As of 2019, Conference Papers are published in ASHRAE Transactions along with Extended Abstracts. Conference Papers presented from 2010 to 2012 are published in ASHRAE Transactions, from 2013 to 2014 on the ASHRAE Papers CD, from 2015 to 2017 as a download collection, and from 2017 to 2018 as a subscription in the Technology Portal on the ASHRAE website. ASHRAE Conference Papers encompass the wide range of technologies and applications of interest to researchers and practitioners whose work shapes the built environment.

Conference Papers are no longer than 8 pages in length and undergo a single-blind review by two or more reviewers. Conference Papers are first submitted as abstracts for review and acceptance. The complete papers are due three months after abstract acceptance, undergo a single-blind review (the author(s) names are included in the paper; however, reviewers remain anonymous), and must be approved by two reviewers. The abstracts are also reviewed for a possible topical issue of ASHRAE's journal of archival research, Science and Technology for the Built Environment.

Accepted Conference Papers for the ASHRAE Winter and Annual Conferences are made available as preprints in the Virtual Conference Access platform at the start of the conference and published as final papers in ASHRAE Transactions. The final versions are also available via subscription to the Conference Papers collection in the ASHRAE Technology Portal.
